Our periodontal certificate course lectures are held in London, Manchester and Glasgow

Courses are usually held on a Saturday/Sundays to ensure minimal disruption from your working week.

We adhere to strict quality control for verifiable cpd. All aims and learning outcomes are sent before commencement of courses.

Specialist Periodontist

Hatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital in 1996. In 2004 he completed four-year specialist training at Guys Hospital/Kings College achieving two Master degrees.

Since 2004 Hatem has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has over 15 years teaching experience at all levels. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching and this is reflected in the amount of time committed to mentoring colleagues both during and after completing PerioAcademy courses.

He believes in delivering teaching excellence and to create a relaxed atmosphere to maximize learning. His emphasis is on practical teaching, repetition and then planning cases jointly. Long term mentoring is emphasized to reflect on progress and refinement of skills.

Hatem works in private practice approximately four days a week with remaining time dedicated to PerioAcademy teaching and mentoring colleagues.

Zainab qualified from University of Sheffield in 2002 with BDS degree.
After several years of gaining experience in the maxillofacial field, as well as general dentistry, she embarked on specialty in periodontology.

Zainab completed her specialty training in Periodontology (MClinDent Perio MRD RCS (Ed), from Guy’s Dental Hospital. Since then, she has limited her practice to periodontics and implant therapy. Previous position was Clinical Lead Guys and St Thomas Periodontology Department

Zainab’s time dedicates part of her time working at Guys Dental Hospital as a consultant periodontist She was a previously on the Board of Examiners for the postgraduate examination MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons, in Edinburgh.
